Bodycam on PS5 or Xbox? What we know about a console version (2026)

Short answer: there is no Bodycam for PS5 or Xbox, announced or dated. The game is still PC-only on Steam and in Early Access.

What the studio has officially said

The only official statement comes from Reissad Studio's FAQ at the 2024 launch: "for now" they were aiming for a PC-only release with keyboard and mouse.

• "For now" isn't a definitive no, but nothing different has been announced since.
• The current roadmap is all about v0.8: party, anti-cheat, Zombies and the economy. No sign of consoles.

Rumors and "PS5 release date" pages

Search "Bodycam PS5" and you'll find pages with dates and "leaks". None cite an official source. Until Reissad announces it on Steam or its socials, treat them as speculation.

The exception: Bodycam inside Fortnite

Since September 12, 2026 there's an official Fortnite adaptation (UEFN), published by Nazara under license from Reissad, with Free For All, Team Deathmatch and Gun Game on the Russian Building map.

• Fortnite islands are usually playable on every Fortnite platform, consoles included. That's an inference, so check the island on your platform.
• It's not the same game: it's a more arcade version with Fortnite's limitations. Full details in Bodycam comes to Fortnite.

When could it come to console?

Our opinion, not the studio's: a port is unlikely before version 1.0, because the game is still being rebuilt under the hood. The anti-cheat and the new connectivity layer Reissad is building would also be prerequisites for an online console game.
